Biographie

Kimane participated in the national camp in Montpellier in 2015.

She joined the National Softball Academy in 2016.

She participated in the Battle at the Castle Tournament in the Netherlands, in July 2016 and 2017.

She participated in the European Championship U16 in Ostrava, Czech Republic in 2017, as a third baseman. Also, she integrate the Softball National Team Senior for the 2017 European Championship in Bollate, Italy.

After having completed her season in the highest softball league with the club of Grenoble, she played with the club of St Raphaël Comanches and became 2018 national champion.

In 2019, she played for the Senior French National Team during the European Championship and the Olympic Qualification Tournment for Tokyo 2020. Finishing with the highest battering average of team and one of the best in the competition.

After she graduated (2019), she joined the Trinity Valley Community College (USA, NJCAA D1) with a full scolarship.

She won the 2021 Region XIV East Zone with the Cardinals in May 2021 and was named in the All-Conference Second Team.

In 2022 she joined the Islanders of Texas Corpus Christi in NCAA Division 1 Softball.

Kimane découvre le softball en commençant à jouer au baseball à 12 ans. A l’époque elle ne s’intéresse que très peu au softball, jusqu’à ce qu’elle se présente aux sélections du Pôle France. La rapidité du jeu, ainsi que ses différentes techniques et stratégies l’ont séduites, elle s’est alors tournée vers le haut niveau pour progresser plus vite et approfondir sa pratique.

Elle a toujours joué pour les Drosers de Montendre mais signe à Grenoble afin de participer au Championnat de France D1 pour la saison 2017. Pour la saison 2018, elle rejoint le club des Comanches de Toulon.

En 2017, elle participe aux Championnats d’Europe U16 ainsi que Senior.

En 2019 elle est la meilleure frappeuse de l’Equipe de France féminine de Softball aux Championnats d’Europe 2019, la France termine 6ème, égalant sa meilleure performance historique pour lia première fois depuis 1995 et disputant le tournoi de qualification Olympique de Softball Europe/Afrique WBSC.

Elle rejoint le Trinity Valley Community College (Etats-Unis) en NJCAA Division 1.

En mai 2021 elle remporte la Region XIV East Zone avec les Cardinals et se qualifie pour le Division 1 Championship.

Elle s’engage en 2022 avec les Islanders de Texas Corpus Christi en NCAA Division 1.
